(Universal Language) is featured in the interior of
the Dhoby Ghaut MRT stations along the North-East
Line (NEL).
The sculptor’s
30 years of research into the Universal Language,
a language explaining the origin of life from a dot
(node/landmark), extending to a line (path/boundary),
connecting to a plane (place/domain), finally forming
the volume (architectural space/existential space),
is the guiding principle behind the creation of Land
before Time. Land before Time in itself embodies the
language of life – the Universal Language.
